Secure, HTTP-only account cookies remember a signed-in Educlex account and support protected pages. Google sign-in credentials are verified on the server and exchanged for an Educlex session. These cookies are required for account functionality.
A random visitor identifier helps count page views, landing pages, broad traffic source and device type. The server hashes the identifier before database storage.
